LANDSCAPE PAINTING WORKSHOP w/ Sherida {$75}

$75 includes all necessary materials
Join Sherida Johnson at Blue Barn Door {studio} for a vibrant landscape painting workshop, open to students ages 10 and up - including kids, teens, and adults. This 5-day class is designed for all skill levels and focuses on building confidence with acrylics while painting a happy, expressive landscape inspired by nature.
On the first day, the class will come together to vote on a reference photo - such as a beach, mountain scene, field, or forest - which we’ll use as our shared inspiration for the week. Students will work on one large acrylic painting throughout the workshop, learning how to build a piece layer by layer.
Each session will include instruction on specific techniques like creating sky gradients, panting trees, adding depth, and developing foreground elements. along the way, students will participate in group discussions about mood, color choices, and storytelling through scenery. There’s lots of room for individual expression, interpretation, and creative decision-making, guided by the instructor and encouraged through class conversation.
Feel free to bring your own drink and a snack!
Class fee is $75 and includes all materials and clean-up.
Register online only. Payment is due 2 days prior to class day (so we can make sure we have enough materials).
Walk-ins are on a first come basis which is not a guarantee and payment is due at the door. BUT CALL FIRST!
